To my dearest Tray,
This is the hardest thing that I have ever had to write.
You asked me to keep an eye on your girls & your Mum. I promised you I
would do my best. The journey they are now on, will never end only ease with
time. I hope they can hear your voice & see your beautiful smiling face as I do.
You and I had 40 years of a wonderful friendship. Our souls understood each
other right from the beginning & never stopped.
We would ride our mopeds to the Queens in Littlemore, come rain or shine.
When we passed our driving test (within 3 days of each other) we upgraded to
cars, you had a Samber & I a mini. Mine you would hold in 2 nd gear while I
tuned the corners. We have been through many a karaoke night, singing &
dancing, breaks at Butlins & Benidorm. The births of our children, mine
including a video camera, we’ll not say any more on that one. We’ve also
seen family & friends passing, we have supported each other throughout it all.
I didn’t think we could get any closer, but the last 7 years we did. You knew
what I was thinking before I opened my mouth. No matter what was going on
in your life, you always made me feel like I came first. A wonderful gift that
many people that knew you will also have experienced.
The last few years, all our emotions have gone through the floor, through the
roof & back through the floor. Thought-out it, you had such a brave attitude to
it & became in inspiration to all the that knew you.
I will always be thankful for what we had; you enriched my life as you did so
many.
You taught me how to be thankful for what we have and to make the most of it.
You are here; your arms are wrapped around every one of us with your love.
I cannot say goodbye right now, so until we meet again Pal, you will always be
my Ed’s. Love you always my beautiful forever friend. Go & shine bright like a
diamond
Love Pats.
Sue
